I know it doesn?t make sense but my dad always used to say, ?a watch gets used to how a person treats it?, sounds daft I know but I think he had a point. Practice setting the hands but be gentle don?t treat it roughly remember it?s a delicate piece of kit.

The Automatic watch can wind itself up by movement. So in a normal day regular body movement will provide enough energy to fully charge the spring in an automatic watch. Personally I like the idea of alarm watches as they are very useful in planning my busy schedule. My problem is I tend to be a bit rough on watches so I don?t want a delicate or very expensive one. The greatest tip I can offer you is to tell you that if you are engaging in any type of rough physical activity then take your watch off and put it in a safe place.
